    I’m not going to lie. I love crepes. And I used to pronounce it the English way. In fact, in my head as I write this in English my brain goes: Cray-ps.

    I think back to my wife being made fun of in a standup comedy special for saying it that way. And that’s how my brain says it. Yes, I’m horrible.

    If you’re talking to someone in English, do you say it in French pronunciation? Or do you say crepes. Let me know, we should have a poll.

    At any rate, in this snippet I’m already learning about a holiday I didn’t even know existed. Candlemas. There’s a lot to learn here, so let’s get into it.
