takes care of (as in children)

As a parent of toddlers, I do enjoy this expression. Translated with children, or in this case a doll treated as a child, it means to take care of. To mind the children. Busying with the children. So fitting. Days fly by, I love the time passed, but then where has the time gone for this project and other things I was hoping to do? I wouldn’t change a thing. Sometimes expressions are perfect.
