It’s been a while since I’ve been on the site, I’ve been traveling with my family — in France, no less. And, while I believe my French is improving. I still have an urge to understand more of what people say to me.
My last 30 day challenge on this site – in August of 2021, saw my French improve significantly. My vocab isn’t lacking, thanks in part to Duolingo and other apps. In 2019, it was almost impossible to understand anyone in France. After my challenge in August, it seems now I can pick up 20-30% of basic conversations in French. I’d like to be over 50%. That’s why I’m restarting.
I’m going to tackle this podcast episode and will search for more news and music to include at the same time. This, of course, I’m juggling with other gigs, and traveling with my wife and our two young kids. I’m putting it out here, and hope to continue.
I hope you can join me and we can immerse in French bite by bite. This episode starts slow, so let’s get back in the saddle together with something easier, eh?
