    I realized

I realized I have a lot more French to learn. A lot more vocab. But I love the idea of slowly improving my listening comprehension. That’s what keeps me here. Coming back. Day after day to make these lessons. I hope you’re enjoying them too.

We got a small mouse toy (V-Tech, I think) for our daughter. It tells stories and plays songs, for kids, in French. And I don’t understand a word. Well, that’s not true. I picked up “The Princess and the Pea” this morning. But the songs are tricky.

Even in Chinese, having spoken it for 18 years, I still struggle with music. There’s always time to relisten and read the lyrics. There’s no professional reason to be able to understand music. I probably won’t get to that point in French. Heck, maybe I’m not even to that point in English?

But I would like to be able to understand children’s nursery rhymes. And everything else. Best keep at it.

What would you change? Anything you’d add? Let me know below. Keep on keeping on, together we’re going to understand everything.
