    When you were little

I’m confused about this one. The whole kingdom falls asleep when Sleeping Beauty falls under the spell? I didn’t know that?

Maybe it’s because I got my fairy tales from Disney and not from the original sources. They were adapted. Then again, maybe Disney had that and I just didn’t realize it. I just had to google it and sure enough in some versions the whole castle is asleep.

I’m now thinking, would I tell my 2 year old toddler this story? I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll look into puss and boots as a better option.

Then again, maybe I’ll just stick to reading her favorites at bedtime. Pretty soon we’ll be reading T’choupi and other French favorites I’m sure.

When you were little, your parents probably told you some tales.

“Little Red Riding Hood”, you know the story of the little girl who goes to visit her sick grandmother and meets the wolf in the forest.

Or “Sleeping Beauty”, where a beautiful princess pricks her finger and falls asleep and with her the whole kingdom. It takes a brave prince to save her.

“The Puss in Boots”, the story of a cunning cat who wears boots and makes the fortune of his poor born master.
