At the top of the podium
The word “haut” continues to surprise. It’s one of the words that compelled me to start this project. There are 4 letter in that word and 2 aren’t pronounced. The pronunciation of these words is tricky, and in turn it affecs how I (don’t) hear them in conversation.
I’m still stuck on the fact that certain words blend into their surrounding words, and I lose the meaning of the whole phrase. So the small words matter the most.
This podcast, while fast, is very colloquial. For me at least. It’s the kind of French I want to udnerstand esaily. It’s about the same as yesterday’s quiz.
