    Maybe a bit

Here we are at the end of another podcast. How did you find this episode from Choses a Savoir?

I know I’ve spend a lot of time (maybe a bit too much?) harping about how fast the pace is. I’m the one who decided to do this episode. I just didn’t realize I’d be biting off more than I could chew.

It’s short, only a couple of minutes, and packed with a ton of content. It’s remarkable how much they can say in so short of time. It’s like Chinese can pack a ton of content into a tweet… 160 characters goes a long way (much more than 160 letters in English). But French seems to be able to say so much in so little time.

Voilà c’est peut-être un peu compliqué. Alors plus simplement, prévoir plusieurs pauses de 8 à 11 jours dans l’année est préférable à un seul gros bloc d’un mois pendant l’été.

This may be a bit complicated. So simply put, scheduling several 8-11 day breaks throughout the year is better than one big month-long block during the summer.
