    To tell the truth

To tell the truth, I think I’d tell the truth. But then again, I don’t live in the time of kings. Maybe it’d be worse to upset the prince, anger the king, and be beheaded. To tell the truth, beheading is worse. Better to tell a lie. I am not familiar with a time of absolute power in a monarch… nope. and I definitely am better suited to this day and age.

So the king sends eight servants to fetch the girl. The good people are too afraid to tell the truth, that their daughter is in fact only a wax doll and do not protest when their daughter is taken away in a litter.
