Which are you doing on this podcast episode? I’m definitely having challenges with even the 30% blank quiz. These are tough.

I’m not sure where most learners are. Maybe you prefer a fast one like this, or you’d prefer something a bit closer to 150 wpm. Wherever you are, there is something to gain from these quizzes, even if you can only hear a couple of words.

That’s my hunch at least. And I am biased, I made this afterall. I think I’m right though, because I’m definitely hearing words on a couple of listens that I couldn’t hear before. That were just a wash in the audio. And that is progress.

This is a longer clip. And it’s fast paced. Find yesterday’s quiz here.

Thus, from the 8th day onwards, the participants in the study indicated that they reached a peak of well-being. So, 8 days may seem like a long time to reach this peak of well-being, but in reality this is explained by the fact that the body needs some time to get used to not working, to live at a slower and more restful pace. So the effects of rest are not immediate. This explains why on Sunday evening, after 2 days of rest, well, for most people, the feeling of well-being is only slightly felt.
